NOTE: I am not the administrator for Button Bytes. The information here is simply provided for public information. For more information to go Google Groups as listed below. "Button Bytes" is an online news group for button collectors. Members register online with their email address. Once a member, you receive automated emails from other group members. The group typically has an educational topic of discussion going for a predetermined period of time. Then they move on to a new topic. Members share pictures of their buttons (posted on the web; address sent in the emails). Members of this group range from beginners to highly experienced/advanced button collectors. Because collectors and dealers and book authors are often one and the same, this group includes a range of excellent resources. Benefits of Membership?
Caution: If you don't have time to read between 10 to 30 e-mails daily, this is not a group for you. They are very active and productive e-mailers -- but (almost) always on the topic of buttons. The photos and educational opportunities with this group are excellent.
To become a member, you must first sign-up for "Google Groups"; then you can request membership in the Button Bytes group.
