California State Button Society was founded in 1941. Today the
membership is near 225. The Society publishes a beautiful color quarterly
newsletter, "The Brief" which is free to members. It includes
educational articles and photos as well as society updates. The group
meets annually for its convention that includes educational programs, button
display competitions, button sales, and social opportunities for attendees.
